Discover USA Paper House Productions feat. 3L Scrapbook Adhesives!

Hey Everyone! I'm here today with a post with Paper House Productions! This week we're doing a cross promotion with one of my favorite companies Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

I created a page using the Discover USA line by Paper House- which I've already done a few pages with. Its a line that literally keeps giving and I have still I could/want to accomplish with! With this page, I decided to do a page that looks like a pocket page concept but all just on the paper. I wanted to be able to utilize all the great cut aparts.

The East Coast paper I thought I would never be able to use. I just never get to the beach or eat crabs much but it dawned on me; Oh Renee -you dork- you're sister's family lives on the East Coast. Okay- will do. So I creeped on my family's facebook page to see if they had any hidden gems I could scrapbook for them! I found a great selection of my brother-in-law's rowing. Perfect!! I dug around some more with my Paper House suppplies- and remembered I had a Beach Clear Stickers that would go great with this page as well!!

While constructing this page, I used Scrapbook Adhesive's Refillable EZ- Runner. I can't say enough about this- it has a strong hold! Which for my klutzy self, I really needed to be prepared on where I was going to place things. It has lasted forever it seems, most tape runners I feel are so easy to just use up on a few projects. I also find that may be also because just a little bit is all you need to place which is perfect!

To pop up a few of the embellishments, I used their 3D Foam Squares which comes in a package of 2 different sizes which is very helpful. Again, the strength is there with these and so it helps you not have to use so many! Just one seemed to do just enough to give it the dimension I wanted as well as hold it in place. Just what I need to give my page some depth.

I'm excited about how my page turned out and I love being able to show you how great the products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L are! I hope you join us all week long to see how different members have used their products as well as join in on some giveaways happening over at the blog!!

Family Flip Album @ Paper House Productions!

I'm here with a post today on the new Flip Albums by Paper House Productions! I think they are so awesome, they are little albums that you can flip through with different pictures on either pull out pages or folded pages.  I'm going to show you how I utilized the Family Flip Album!
I think what's perfect about this album is that it's already constructed for you; you just need to add the photos then embellish how you see fit! It comes with a sheet of stickers that coordinate with the album and I thought there were plenty of them to use! Also it comes with corner stickers to place on your photos to make them look like they're slid in to place.

This album I am making as a present to my sister's family. ( She'll probably see it here, hope you like it! Haha! ) I thought it would also work great with this set of 4 photos I found of their family.  I manipulated the photos to be 4in. x 4in. sized which fits perfectly on the squares in the flip album with a little space around the edge of them!

Besides the stickers that are included in the box with the album, I used a few of the stickers from the Life's Organized Planner sticker pack that coordinated with it! I got some small alphas I had in my stash to use on the photos as well to add more sentiments.Besides the stickers that are included in the box with the album, I used a few of the stickers from the Life's Organized Planner sticker pack that coordinated with it! Everyday Planner @ Paper House Productions!!

I'm here today showing you how I utilize the new Paper House Productions Planner: Everyday Moments. I think like everyone is jumping on the new planner craze and I’m so excited about it! Maybe because I’m obsessed with everything planner related. I admit though- sometimes I’m horrible at actually USING it. So I’m giving a new try with this planner!
Planner2
I decided to start with the month of April! What’s great about these planners are they have no start month, so you can literally decide where you want to begin. Each planner come with 3 sticker sheets that are already attached inside the beginning of your planner that coordinate with the planner. The first sheet comes with month labels you can use for the designated month.  So I peeled the month of April off which goes perfectly with the colors already on the monthly spread.
For special days, I wanted to include a picture of them instead of words just to add a different touch to the planner. So I printed off a picture of my niece who’s birthday is on the 9th and my cat ( yes, don’t judge me) on the 19th. The 2×2 size fits (I used PicStitch App) almost perfectly in to the spots.  The other sticker sheets included also have little stickers for birthdays, doctor appointments and other events so I included the little birthday cake on each of their pictures.

I kind of skipped the first week spread because it’s honestly- well not exciting. So I decorated the next one because it included Addison’s birthday!  Again, the pages are blank so you’re able to label however you want- which is great! I decided this week just to use my own penmanship/calligraphy skills to make giant numbers for the dates. Addison’s  birthday I included some fun stickers- also on the sticker sheets from the planner. I loved the aqua color so all the aqua stickers just spilled on to the date.
Each date I also just placed a line to separate the boxes so I could keep my work out written down. I always like looking back and seeing how I progressed with my work outs as well as keep tabs on how many miles I’ve ran.

You can find the planner here.
I hope you enjoyed my look at the planner! I’m excited to keep documenting during the month’s and showing you how I utilize this planner! I also can’t wait to see how you use your planner!!

Lake Life with Paper House Productions!

I was up on Sunday at the Paper House Productions blog with a new page featuring their Discover USA line! I am horrible and had this scheduled for a different date - and clearly- very unaware that it hadn't post. So I'm hoping you still go over to Paper House and check out my page!
Anyways! I can't get enough of the Discover USA paper line. It has so many different angles you can take the collection! Last time I made a Road Trip page with it, now I'm taking an outdoor twist!  I still also have plenty left to make a few more pages- which I plan to do! I love it so much!

For this page, I -again- used stuff I had previously had that were Paper House Products along with the Discover USA collection.

I absolutely love spending time in the outdoors, especially out on the water. There's just something soothing about it. I thought the embellishments captured all the exciting things I love about time at the lake. They just look so realistic and perfect colors! I made a cluster around the photos on the top right and around the journaling on the bottom left. I couldn't pick which ones to use, I did kind of embellish spill all over the page but it turned out pretty well!!

I hope I inspired you to pick up our Discover USA line as well as tons of different supplies that go so well with the collection. I love when you can mix and match stuff together, makes utilizing my supplies so much easier!! Also, I can't wait to show what I have up my sleeve for my next entry!!

Road Trip with Discover USA @ Paper House Productions!

Why hello! I'm up on the Paper House blog with my second post of the month! This time I did a page featuring their new line Discover USA.  I fell in love with it right when I saw it- so many cut apart sheets. There was one for each "section" of the United States plus on featuring road trip sayings! I literally had 3 different pages ready to put together but I decided to start on this one that I am showing you today!
discoverpph
I didn't realize how many Paper House products I had already hoarded in my supplies before I became a DT member. I was so excited to get to use them finally on a layout! I had bought many things that were road trip/vacation related- so it worked perfectly for this new collection!

I decided to make my own little embellishment by cutting the United States outline out of one of the Paper House mixed cards I already had .. It's kind of crappy fussy cut, no lie but avoid that. I backed it with some paper, threw in some sequins and topped it with an acetate mixed card.  I thought it turned out pretty cute, but I'm kind of bias.
I provided a list of the items I used with the links, if you're interested in buying some of these great products from their store. What's great is Paper House products are sold at the big box stores such as Hobby Lobby, Michael's or Jo Anns!

I layered behind the pictures as I always do with pieces of the cut apart paper. I also put one of the cards in the middle. I created a bigger cluster at the top of the right photo and the bottom of the left photo but added little pieces on the opposite.  I also did clusters at the top and the bottom of the page overall. Journaling was part of the bottom cluster so I could somewhat remember what this page was about. For the background of the paper, I cut the sheet in half flipped the top over -piecing them together on another sheet plain paper.
I just love how this page came together for me. I always loved my road trips with John, he always seemed to make things interesting and could make me laugh for hours. So I wanted to document my crazy selfies from our trip to Missouri. Although lets be honest, I can't wait until this summer when I can go on more adventures and document some pages that don't include my ex :P
I hope you enjoyed this page and can't wait to bring you more work from these great new lines!!

Baby Boy Layout @ Paper House Productions!

I'm excited to be up with my first blog post with Paper House Productions.  I'm showing what I created with their new collection Hello Baby : Baby Boy.  It's so precious, so many cute pieces. But what I loved more about this collection is how I could manipulate it in so many ways!

I decided to use this sweet picture of my best friend's baby. I'm pretty sure I've already told the story of how much I love this baby but I'm going to tell it again. But my sweet best friend, bless her heart, has been married to her high school sweet heart for nearly 10 years and she couldn't have found someone more perfect for her. Not going to lie, I'm a bit jealous. But they've been trying so hard to have a baby for so long! No two could be more perfect parents- in the mean time they've been hosting foreign exchange students.  As much as they adore the kids, I imagine nothing would feel as precious as having your own children. Finally after a long process, she was blessed with this sweet baby boy. He's beyond loved by everyone- included crazy Aunt Nee.

So I had to put him in the center of this page. I decided to create kind of a diagonal feel with it going from the upper right to the lower left as far as the cluster of embellishments. To create the embellishments, outside of the cardstock stickers and puffy stickers- I took papers from the collection and fussy cut them to make more!  I layered with the cut aparts behind the photo as well as used them as a base to create the clusters upon.

I think I used 75% of all this collection on this one page, I was just so excited about all the pieces. But I figure, it's an excuse to buy more right? I just adore how this page turned out and how cute this collection is. Perfect colors and elements!  I hope you enjoy how I put this together!

You can check out more about Paper House Productions at their website. I also have seen their products sold at various big box stores such as Michael's and Hobby Lobby!
